Ray Rice: Ray Lewis “more than likely” will be back

Ravens running back Ray Rice (and a friend) sat down with Florio in a special bonus PFT Live segment late in the week.

Rice said he’s ready for an 18-game season, believes Joe Flacco has every right to speak up for his fired coach Jim Zorn, and also tried to dispel the rumors that Ray Lewis could retire.

“I think Ray will be back with me . . .  I think more than likely Ray is going to be back with us,” Rice told Mike.   The rest of the interview can be seen below.

    Really? who cares? He is nothing but a big ass cheerleader! Skills are deminished and should retire.

    ..another year older, another year slower.
    Welcome back Ray.

    139 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 fumbles forced, 2 ints, and 1 td in his 15th year. If you dont like the man that is one thing, but don’t be stupid. There has never been a smarter more durable LB than Lewis. First Ballot HOFer period!

    @delaney37 – I hope you’re working on getting your head out of your rear end…hate for you to miss the game later today.

    This is such a non-story though. Ray will be back next year…120% guaranteed. I know this for a fact. Beyond next year, however, I don’t even think Ray knows what he will do.

    For all you numbskulls who like to stir the pot, face the basic facts. Ray is the greatest MLB of all time (only Butkus can enter into this argument & Ray has made mroe Pro Bowls than Butkus’ played years)…and he is STILL one of the top 5 MLBs in the NFL. His skills have diminished, but that’s just how good he was. He can’t run sideline to sideline anymore, but he’s not asked to…and the extent to which he elevates everyone on that defense is beyond compare. Like it or not, every last one of you would LOVE to have Ray Ray on your team! For goodness sakes, the Jets are about to franchise David Harris & he still couldn’t hold Ray’s jock.

    @FoozieGrooler

    Oh I’m sorry I thought you were talking about James Farrior, Brett Keisel, Casey Hampton, Hines Ward, and Aaron Smith. My apologies

    Ray Lewis is the best part of the NFL, he is everything you would want in a player. I love watching the guy play. Come on back Ray.

    @chiefforlife – Respect

    @cityofchimps – please. He has “more than likely” killed as many people as you have.
