its amazing how dumb people are with facebook twitter etc….. do not put anything in any electronic format ever unless you want the entire world to see and critique it…. and dont complain when you are fired, suspended, jailed, divorced due to such stupidity

“The strange tale of Rocky Seto took a humorous turn late Tuesday night.

Seto, the front-runner for the UCLA defensive coordinator job, was hired by the Bruins, according to a Daily Trojan story posted online Tuesday night. The story included a text attributed to Seto, “[I] accepted the position tonight to coordinate at UCLA. Praise the Lord!”

Shortly after a text message was sent Seto by the Los Angeles Times, the quote in the Daily Trojan story mysteriously vanished. The story still reported Seto was hired, just without attribution.

A UCLA official said that no one has been hired as defensive coordinator.”

Crooked SC guy cant be trusted.

Neuheisal is a nitwit. If Seto was the most qualified for the job, that’s who he should have hired. He shouldn’t have offered the job that day if he didn’t want the news out that day. Bartpkelly sums it up for me, what an absurd reason to rescind the offer. As the job market gets better, people are going to start realizing that if you are losing a job because of social media postings, it may not have been a great situation for you anyway. Right now, because of the economy, we let all these HR wonks tell us what awful people we are for posting on social media, and that of course we deserved to lose our jobs, because they have nothing better to do than look at social profiles to ” weed out” candidates. What they don’t realize is that they ‘weed out’ talent as well; just because you are an ideal employee from an HR standpoint, doesn’t mean you’re the best guy for the job. I hope the Bruins give up 40 points a game next year with their “HR approved , prudent, never posting on social media” new guy.
