If he wants to play a LeBeau def he needs the players! Rhodes is no Troy, DRC is no Clark and LB’S are no Harrison and Woodley! As for Townsend he got burnt too many times as so will his DB’s. Rememebr Horton was secondary coach was his secondary was the worse of the Steelers def!

Every new DC says they are going to be aggressive and physical. Just once I’d like to hear a new DC stand up and say, “We’re going to be a passive finesse defense that let’s the offense dictate to us.”

Good for Townsend. He was a solid nickle back for a few seasons, probably second to Charles Woodson when it came to blitzing as a DB. He would have even made the pro bowl in 2004 if Chris McCalister wasn’t so overrated.

Yes, everyone’s going to be waiting until the Cardinals first defensive play to see if it’s a touchdown. And I thought DESHEA TOWNSEND was still looking for work as a defensive back, and not as asst. DB coach.
