A second league might be successful if they stuck to areas of the country that the NFL, and most other major sports league ignore…like maybe Alabama, Iowa, Nebraska, Idaho etc. Low populations but have shown with college football that they can fill a Stadium if the product is good enough.

I would love to see this league become relevant as a developmental league for the NFL. Teams would have rights to players and could “call them up” during the season. That’s the only way the UFL could stick around.

Smart move by the UFL, which should be in a good spot to benefit if the NFL and the NFLPA aren’t able to reach a new CBA by the time August rolls around.
