If he hadn’t taken the last half of the season off they may have actually made it. That’s the problem with Shaun, though. Sometimes, he just doesn’t want to show up. Lions go 6-2 to start the season and then Rogers checks out and they finish 7-9.

Shaun Rogers has no idea what it takes to be a winner. If a winning team wants a guy that is nice to have, but cannot be counted on, go get him. If you’re a team that sees his value, talent and ability…. AND begin counting on him to display it on every snap…. you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

Rogers mouthpiece is doing what he is supposed to say and do to defend his mealticket.
His agent must not have watched his client play the past few years. Rogers is a part time player that plays when and if he wants to. The Browns no longer need to coddle players that make more then their worth. Good riddance, he will show up on another teams roster and have a few good plays and then end up like he did for the Browns on the active roster and injury report every week and practice only on the light workout days, ie. every Friday when the teams have a walk-thru, no pads.
He couldn’t stop the run or play more then a few downs per game, but hey, he was able to help the police stop a drunk driver. At least he did something worthwhile in Cleveland besides steal a paycheck. I see no more big pay days for this “Big Baby”
