thats a nice stat but is robbins constantly double teamed

and mebane is like 25 he has his best years ahead of him while robbins is 33 and his play will only go downhill from here.

I have !00% faith in Pete Carroll & John Schneider getting the job done & Hawks keeping the guys they need. I mean Paul Allen is 20 times richer than the next richest owner. The training facility is 5 miles from my house. Right on lake Washington. It’s first class top to bottom . He bought his team a new 767 to fly in. Big SEAHAWKS logo on the tail it’s so cool & will be landing in your home town to beat-up on your football teem soon.

he is the most underrated defensive tackle in the league and the hawks would be stupid to let him go.. the only problem is that he tends to miss a good few games through injury and the hawks get run all over when hes not playing.. if he isnt resigned im going to be pissed

Uhh no i Believe the most underrated DT goes to Fred robbins from the Rams.

Led the League in Rushing yards allowed agianst him – 0.1 YPC.

I’m also not sure I see the Eagles getting involved. I’m under the impression that Dixon was decent last year, Bunkley was banged up, and Patterson was relatively solid for them. Add in Washburn’s history in “mining” DL talent that’s under the radar, and I’m not sold that they would go for a big DT splash. I feel like CB and interior OL are of higher significance for the franchise, and there’s a healthy amount of solid CB’s that should hit the market this offseason (whenever the CBA gets done).

In general, I don’t see the Bears splashing a lot of money this offseason, and I’m alright with that as I don’t see the chances of elite players at the Bears need positions being made available (LT, #1 WR, DT). If Mebane is made available, though, I would hope that it is adios Tommie Harris. Mebane would make a great fit inside, giving them a consistently disruptive three technique. Honestly, the Bears defense somewhat overachieved last year in some respects – for a team who depends on the DL to get pressure, they didn’t have a top 3-technique, and Idonije isn’t forcing teams to double. If Peppers wasn’t on his game for most of the season, the Bears D would’ve been much weaker (thankfully he was, and forced the extra attention).
