The simple fact that Rummy tags the Raiders as “evil” is funny as all hell. What does this guy know about evil, aside from the fact he assisted W and his cronies about in putting the USA to war against Iraq based on lies? The guy is old, demented, and about 2 steps away from useless (just like our friend Al The Cryptkeeper, but at least Al doesn’t make assumptions, he just gets his decisions wrong). So, unless Rummy here serves some purpose in life after a Cabinet post (such as gumming farina for his fellow rest home residents) it’s best to let him prattle away on subjects that don’t even concern him.

If they would just release some footage of an actual airplane hitting the Pentagon, it would quell a lot of the conspiracy theories. Too bad the Government considers us all mindless sheep incapable of handling the truth.

That’s some impressive logic. Not.
Rumsfeld has admitted to violating the Geneva Convention. So has Bush and Cheney, so by their own admission they have committed crimes. If they were to leave the U.S. they could be arrested, taken to the Hague, and put on trial. Congress did not approve waterboarding and illegal detention, so they are not culpable.
Rummy’s book reveals there were no WMD.
He and Bush and Cheney are guilty, and there should be an investigation.

Rummy, Wolfowitz, Cheney et al were directly responsible for manufacturing intelligence and evidence, lying to Congress with impunity and shameless spewing propaganda to get us into Iraq, resulting in thousands of American deaths and the destruction of a sovereign nation. Doesn’t make me proud to be an American.

That said, I don’t give Congress a free pass at all. They are a disgrace to themselves, their constituents and to the great history of this nation. I am neither Democratic nor Republican, Liberal nor Conservative, but clearly the American people gave the Democratic party a mandate in 2006 to hold the Bush Administration responsible for their war crimes and they failed. All are complicit and all are contemptible.

I also agree with Gia and really, most of us have already left America, living within its borders, because it is but a mere shell of what it was meant to be. Are people aware that Rumsfield and Cheney have been involved in some capacity or level, since the 70′s in D.C. and the government, with defense, schemes and cover ups…makes it easy to assume that there is indeed a grand master plan and these people are placed accordingly to help carry it out…just wonder what their final objective is. I’m afraid, I don’t really want to know. I do know that with all of the bickering and separation, the poor economy, poor educational system, and a myriad of other problems, that WE ALL have played a hand in creating, with our apathy, indifference and loss of morality, that our founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves nonstop. How embarrassing. And for those who think they are being cute by quipping, “You don’t like it, then leave.” Trust me, many people don’t have the means and money too, but I would wager it is safe to say that many, thousands, if not millions, would leave if they had the means and money too. So do yourself a favor and stop thinking that everything is okay, so great and wonderful. Stop believing they hype that these news networks spoonfeed us and the propaganda from both sides of the aisles. Quit buying into the scare tactics and learn how to become a free thinker. Take off the blind fold, quit being a mindless sheep and quit drinking the Kool-Aid and learn how to investigate and form a rational, reasonable and informed decision. I can only hope that someday our leaders reverse course and start doing the same and realize how great things could truly be, for us and even the world. When we take the time to approach foreign affairs with rational talks, an open mind and understanding of each others cultures and realize in the end, we are not all that different. To offer help and assistance with teaching them things like education and how to grow crops, build businesses and suggest ideas on how to live but understand and accept, that they have their own way of doing certain things, that will indeed never change and be okay with it instead of pissed off and try to force the issues, which causes resentment and hatred of us. We can do this things as well domestically. We all play an important role in this thing called humanity and it can be vastly improved for everyone, with a better moral code, a conscious, with understanding, sensible discussion and debates, and with love and peace. Andy yeah, I may be a dreamer…but I’m not the only one.
