Last year, Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox was arrested for sexual assault. The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Whether the charges have any life will be determined on March 7. Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that, on that day, a judge will decide whether there’s enough evidence to proceed to trial.
Cox is represented by lawyer Harvey Steinberg, who possibly has represented at one time or another every person who has ever been employed by the Broncos. And their families.

Harvey also represents Starbucks on the side. In a minor capacity, but at least it saves him from having to pay for his drinks there.
Perrish was relieved to find that the maximum sentence was life. That was bad enough, he couldn’t imagine staying there much longer than that.
Has Goodell suspended Cox yet?
If not, why not?
With some clever pre-trial manuevering, Steinberg was able to get the “plus a day” clause removed from his client’s maximum sentence.
A worse sentence might be making him wear that sweater in public …
hmmm
Cox, Perrish
That does sound bad
Goodell will make a deal so Parrish can play on Sundays, since he is not a Steeler no punishment for him!
Cox may face charges of inducing seizures in epileptics as well.
Harvey thought since he was going to be visiting the penitentiary anyway, why not ask about putting in a couple of Starbucks outlets there.
@ stairwayto7: Will you cry babies STFU about raplisburger’s suspension already???!!!! Ben was accused of assault in MORE THAN ONE HIGH PROFILE CASE. Also, look at the suspension. It mentions nothing about rape or sexual assault. HE WAS SUSPENDED FOR VIOLATING THE PLAYERS CONDUCT POLICY MULTIPLE TIMES YOU CRYING IGNORAMUS.
