Another day of labor negotiations concluded Saturday afternoon after roughly seven hours of talks, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer.

While both sides didn’t comment on specifics of the mediated negotiations, NFL general counsel Jeff Pash told Breer that “everyone is working hard.”

Three active NFL players were present: Colts center Jeff Saturday, Jets fullback Tony Richardson, and Steelers QB Charlie Batch. NFLPA outside counsel Jeffrey Kessler, who is seen as a divisive presence, was in attendance after not being spotted on Friday.

It’s hard to draw any conclusions from such limited information, but it’s good the talks lasted two days this time around without anyone storming away from the table.

“Nothing can be done without communicating,” Saturday said.

(And with that, Breer can go back inside after camping out on a cold Washington D.C. street corner all day.)
