This much the Eagles admit: Tackle Winston Justice will undergo knee surgery on Tuesday.
A “high-ranking team source” tells Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com, however, that Justice will only undergo arthroscopic surgery. The source said there is “absolutely no reason” to believe Justice’s season or career could be threatened as a previous report Monday indicated.
Frank reports that it’s possible the injury will turn out to be more serious than believed, but the team currently expects Justice to be healthy in a matter of weeks after the procedure.
