The Colts have a lot of questions at defensive tackle this offseason, so they decided to pick up some cheap labor off the waiver wire.
The team claimed defensive tackle DeMario Pressley off waivers from the Texans. The Saints drafted Pressley in the fifth-round in the 2008 draft.
We would normally say here that Pressley is a long shot to make the Colts, much less contribute in Indianapolis. The Colts, however, have a way of getting defensive production from unlikely sources and Pressley fits their scheme well.

For what it’s worth, Pressley is slated to earn $480,000 for 2011 if he makes the team. Absent a new deal, he would become a free agent in 2012.
Wow, this move is terrible. Is Bill Polian ok? He couldn’t wait to pick this guy up until after the CBA?
@Lou: good insight
