With one Drew Rosenhaus client who plays tight end for the Tennessee Titans widely expected to leave the team via free agency after spending two years under the franchise tag, another Rosenhaus client reportedly wants to take Bo Scaife’s place on the roster.
TitanInsider.com reports that the free-agent tight end Jeremy Shockey is interested in joining the team. Per the report, the Titans have not yet reached out to Rosenhaus regarding Shockey.
Shockey, originally drafted by the Giants in 2002, has spent the last three seasons in New Orleans. The Saints cut Shockey earlier this week. New Titans offensive coordinator Chris Palmer worked for the Giants during a portion of Shockey’s tenure there.
Shockey said Wednesday on ESPN’s NFL Live that he would be taking a physical with an unnamed team Thursday. Rosenhaus told Joe Rose of WQAM in Miami that Shockey would like to play for the Dolphins.
