Arkansas Ryan Mallett was crowned the unofficial king of the first group of quarterbacks to throw on Sunday.

So how did the rest of the group do?

Washington’s Jake Locker reportedly showed improved accuracy compared to his week in Mobile at the Senior Bowl. Tony Pauline of SI.com and TFYDraft.com thought Locker changed his delivery slightly with good results.

“Teams are looking for a reason to take Locker in the first round. He helped give them one Sunday,” Pauline said.

Nevada’s Colin Kaepernick, on the other hand, didn’t build on his strong effort at the Senior Bowl in the throwing drills, according to Pauline. Kaepernick’s great athleticism was on display in the rest of the day’s drills.

TCU’s Andy Dalton reportedly struggled throwing the ball, according to CBSSports.com’s Rob Rang. That was somewhat expected because Dalton is a quarterback that relies so much on timing with his receivers.
