Ohio State never used Saine the right way, in my opinion. They should have used him more like Brian Westbrook, catching the ball out of the backfield or lining up in the slot and creating matchup problems.

Murray is kind of brittle, but if he could possibly stay healthy, I think he’s probably the top back of that bunch. The speed’s there, he can take it to the house any play, and he’s extremely versatile.

Scott was a beast in ’08 and I thought his injuries robbed him of his speed. I think he makes for a sleeper in the draft.

Saine was projected as prime running back at The Ohio State Univ. Just never produced as expected; others prevailed. Remeber Fast Willie of the Steelers. Maybe another one.

Anyone else watch today’s RB action? I don’t know much about Brandon Saine from Ohio State – did he play a lot there? Anyway, he stood out to me – looked SUPER natural catching the ball and had one of the top 40 times… who is this kid? Looks like a solid NFL player to me (even if its only as a 3rd down back)

That is fast for a guy who is 225 pounds. Nice change of pace/third down prospect for a team like Atlanta or Cleveland who have strong bull rushers in Turner and Hillis.
