So even if he wasn’t drafted by Dominik the GM, Talib was still their pick.

I could be wrong, but wasn’t there a quotation somewhere from Morris explicitly saying he didn’t care about locker room values when selecting players?

So what seems like a blind chance by other teams is a calculated risk by Dom and his staff.

Let’s not make these out as bold moves by the GM….investing only a 4th rounder and a waiver claim on talented knuckleheads who behaved themselves (only 1 arrest between them !) and played well for a year

Mike Williams had a 1st round grade with only Dez Bryant rated above him in talent. Turns out that that grade was correct. Blount had a high grade on him as well. Give the Bucs credit, they picked what no one else thought would work and it worked out for them
