Since he’s been released, tackle Damien Woody made some waves in New England by saying he’d be open o a return to New England.

Of course, he’d also be open to a return to New York. Woody spoke glowingly of his time with the Jets during his appearance on PFT Live Thursday, and said that every player loves to suit up for Rex Ryan.

“We’ll see how it all goes. Right now the most important thing for me moving forward is just getting healthy and rehabbing this Achilles, and let everything fall into place,” Woody said.

Woody was a rock solid right tackle before the injury and his high contract number forced the Jets to release him this week.
