The agent for Clemson defensive end Da’Quan Bowers says that a recent report questioning his client’s recovery from knee surgery is “100% inaccurate” and Bowers has “progressed well ahead of schedule.”
“Da’Quan Bowers will hold a private workout at Clemson’s campus on April 1, 2011, beginning at 9:00 a.m,” Joe Flanagan of BTI Sports Advisors told PFT in a statement. “Da’Quan is eagerly looking forward to his opportunity to work out in front of NFL coaches and decision-makers.”
There was a suggestion from ESPN’s Todd McShay that Bowers was recovering from his knee surgery slower than expected. It’s worth noting Bowers will not work out at Clemson’s Pro Day despite saying he was 100% at the Combine.
Bowers can answer any doubts about his health soon enough in front of the entire NFL.

Is this information McShay getting from an actual source? Or are other analysts pretending to report this knowing that McShay will blindly report it himself. I’m hoping on the latter. ESPN needs to cut ties with that wanna-be man-tanning pretty boy.
Yeah but what about Cam Newtons character issues?
I once caught Da’Bass on the Da’ Lake with the greatest Da’Lure, fishing from Da’Boat….It’s not a tall tale….It’s the truth….
I hope he does well…cuz I think he’s a bit over-rated
Todd McTurd got something wrong? You have to be kidding me!
Of COURSE his agent is going to deny deny deny. He’s paid to spin.
