The agent for Clemson defensive end Da’Quan Bowers says that a recent report questioning his client’s recovery from knee surgery is “100% inaccurate” and Bowers has “progressed well ahead of schedule.”

“Da’Quan Bowers will hold a private workout at Clemson’s campus on April 1, 2011, beginning at 9:00 a.m,” Joe Flanagan of BTI Sports Advisors told PFT in a statement. “Da’Quan is eagerly looking forward to his opportunity to work out in front of NFL coaches and decision-makers.”

There was a suggestion from ESPN’s Todd McShay that Bowers was recovering from his knee surgery slower than expected. It’s worth noting Bowers will not work out at Clemson’s Pro Day despite saying he was 100% at the Combine.

Bowers can answer any doubts about his health soon enough in front of the entire NFL.
