Getty ImagesWe passed along a report over the weekend that said Packers wideout James Jones did not receive a restricted free agent tender from the Packers. We’ve now got a quick update to pass along as well.
Jones said on WBAY (via Jason Wilde) that he did, in fact, get hit with a tender from the Packers.
It probably won’t make a difference because players with four years of experience like Jones are expected to be unrestricted free agents after the next CBA is reached. Still, the Packers played it safer with Jones than was originally reported.
You can now continue with your Monday.

This guy can actually get open..if only he had hands like Jennings.
