This is likely due to group house flipping. Basically, group members would take out loans, and sell the same property to themselves while increasing the house price in each iteration. At the end, someone is left with a defaulted loan, and the group splits the proceeds from the “profit” of the flips, which ends up being the final loan – purchase price – fees. This is incredibly serious stuff. He should consider himself lucky.

Man I hate to call people dumb so I’ll just say you aren’t very bright. He didn’t work for the Saints when this happened. He wasn’t indicted until long after he was an employee of the Saints. It’s really Miami’s issue.
