Steve Sabol “doing great” after seizure

Steve Sabol

We take this break from labor negotiations for news that is a lot more important and optimistic.

Peter King of SI.com reports that NFL Films President Steve Sabol is “doing great, communicative” in a Kansas City hospital following his seizure suffered over the weekend.  He was reported to be in stable condition on Monday.

We’ve been hoping to hear positive news like this since hearing Monday that Sabol suffered a seizure.  Sabol has touched countless lives within the NFL community, not to mention millions of football fans throughout the country.

We hope to pass along more good news about his recovery soon.

Usually, the son-of-the-boss just screws up things. This guy us every bit as important to the game as his HOF dad. I hope Steve is ok.

I hope he is good. I have known a couple people to have seizures and although it is scary (and he probably won’t drive much for a year) there are (thankfully) some explanations that are not super severe. Lets hope that is is something easy to treat that leaves him able to enjoy his life.

Glad to know he is doing good. I owe a bulk of my football knowledge to him and his father’s work. My old man wasn’t into sports, so every Sunday it was “This is the NFL” before everybody and their grandma had a pregame show. I can talk football speaking of players from every decade back to the 30’s because of NFL films, and I am only 34 years old!

    Get better Steve.
