He might slip out of the first round if the Bengals bring back Joseph eliminating there need. This is especially true considering the Raiders have no first round picks.

A lot of people are making a big deal about Jimmy Smith visiting the Lions, but people forget that they drafted Jahvid Best last year. Jahvid Best said the Lions showed NO interest in him and never had a visit to the Lions. Jimmy Smith visiting the Lions means absolutely nothing.

It’s all about risk vs. reward. Once he gets past pick 18, his talent is worth the chance. Mike Williams (TB) was the same way. Take a guy with character concerns late enough and you no longer risk “wasting” a pick, and instead look like a genius if he works out.

Smith should join Von Miller in the lawsuit against the owners. After all, just like Miller, he’a already a “partner” in the NFL.

The “DB class is deep” if you are picking in the top 9 like the Cowboys are. Have fun in the post Parcells world, where you and the Skins can another 0-5 vs 0-5 Monday Nighter. But seriously, Jimmy Smith will still go in the first round because there’s not a lot to choose from after those first 2 guys.
