During the lockout, NFL players need to find other things to do. Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel plans to dig ditches. Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski is spending his time boxing. Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco is spending his time finding ways to avoid boxing Tom Zbikowski.

And Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb is joining the media.

Specifically, McNabb will join Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic for coverage of the second round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. He’ll appear Thursday on SportsNet Central, at 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET. He’ll also appear on Washington Post Live with Ivan Carter at 10:30 p.m. ET.

He returns Friday for the 6:00 p.m. ET SportsNet Central.

Meanwhile, we’re hoping that McNabb will choose to promote his appearances via a visit to PFT Live.

McNabb played basketball at Syracuse from 1995 through 1997. And, in case you didn’t know, football.
