Taking a cue from former teammate Kyle Vanden Bosch, who’ll be organizing lockout workouts in Detroit, the Titans will be getting together next week in Nashville, to work out on their own.

Tennessee cornerback Cortland Finnegan told WNSR radio that the sessions will be held at Father Ryan High School.

“[Vanden Bosch] was huge for us here, and I know wherever he goes, he’s gonna lead,” Finnegan told Darren McFarland and Brad Hopkins. “That’s what we’re doing now -- a bunch of guys, we’re sending emails to one another and texting and calling, and on Monday, Father Ryan has opened up their arms to us. It’ll be closed to the public, but we’ll be out there getting it in.

“We’ve got to keep on keeping on. We’ve got to keep working out. We’ve set up a place, a great place to work out, not at the Titans facility, but we’ve just got to be ready whenever it gets worked out.”

Normally, offseason workouts would be starting this week in many NFL cities. During the lockout, players will now be working out on their own (if at all) -- and they’ll be risking injuries for which they wouldn’t be compensated via placement on injured reserve, if those injuries were to occur at the team’s facility.
