I had no problem passing in a regular school with a “normal” grade scale. But with your grade scale, I could have gotten straight A’s. I mean, if you have 40% as passing, then an A should be about 70%, right? I think I could have gotten that every time without even trying.

You, on the other hand, might have some problems.

I gave the test for years and took it when I was first hired in 86. Sales guys were supposed to score 30 and above-anyone less than 25 and we wouldn’t even hire them to work in the warehouse. 25 questions isn’t a lot but you only get 12 minutes to answer them in. For the record I scored 36 with 6 wrong answers and didn’t even get to the last 8 questions- Not bad for a high school degree. By the way Nobody gets more than 40-42 correct in 12 minutes

considering hate is pretty much all mallett’s gotten from this site, i’d say yes. they generally choose the pic where he looks like a moron even tho if you look on google images there are 89k images yet they chose that one- i’m shocked that’s not what is attached to this post. i guess condon’s media fund is drying up.

Take these scores with a grain of salt – I’d be shocked if their agents weren’t administering the test prior to the Combine for practice (I’d like to think they’re not giving them the answers to memorize).

I was the HR manager for a company that swore by the validity and effectiveness of the Wonderlic in its hiring practices. We tested literally thousands of applicants using this instrument. I recall one – and only one – applicant in over 15 years scored above 40.

We wouldn’t touch anyone who scored less than a 30. If I remember correctly, a score of 30 correlated to the top 6% of all test takers. High 30s were rare enough to actually generate talk around the water cooler.

Did McElroy and Gabbert score in the 40s? I suppose so, at least according to the article. Were they prepped beforehand? Almost assuredly.

Marino and Kelly probably didn’t prepare for the test or take it as seriously as prospects do now. The interviews will vastly outweigh Wonderlic scores, it’s just another way to eliminate someone you already have doubts about.

Wonderlic score is not that important.
Madden score is what they should go by
