Two women who claimed last year that they were raped at a cabin being rented out by Green Bay Packers players are now being charged with prostitution in connection with the events of that night.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Kesha Cureton and Tynecha Lipsco were charged with prostitution stemming from the incident last June. Packers defensive back Brandon Underwood entered a no-contest plea to charges of soliciting prostitution this month.
The case first came to our attention in June, with a report that six members of the Packers were being interviewed over a sexual assault claim by two women. The women were initially claiming that one Packers player raped them while other Packers players held them down.
That story later changed dramatically, to an allegation that Underwood brought the two women back to the cabin after meeting them at a strip club, and that he paid them for sex but threw them out of the cabin when he discovered them in the process of stealing from him.
Other than Underwood, all of the Packers at the cabin have been cleared of criminal wrongdoing.
The police report in the incident says that Cureton and Lipsco may have made the false rape allegations because they were motivated by “future financial gain.”
