Vikings officially cancel Frazier’s first minicamp

The Vikings were scheduled to conduct a minicamp this weekend under new coach Leslie Frazier.  Needless to say, it officially has been canceled, according to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

The mandatory minicamp would have been the first of two mandatory minicamps that each first-year coach is permitted to conduct.

It remains to be seen whether the minicamp will be rescheduled.  Much will depend on the rules that will apply whenever the lockout ends — and if the lockout ends in time for any meaningful offseason activities to occur.

The Vikings must be on The NFL’s short bus. Did they really expect to have one? No wonder they have never won a SuperBowl and the 2 best QB’s in their history, one is a flasher the other is happy.

Did you read the article? Teams with new head coaches get to have an extra mandatory mini-camp.
