Obviously there will be a contract Green Bay can’t afford to match.
But, you never know, with the draft occuring before the free agent period this year, how much a team is willing to leverage the money/age situation of Jenkins.

I, for one, would love to see him come back. When healthy, he can sure be a beast. If they can swing a deal for a reasonable price, it would be great for at least contunuities sake.

I can see the Pack and Cullen coming to terms on something livable for both where Cullen gets to remain, paid a good/decent wage and GB gets a class guy who helped win a SB on a defense that lost what, 11 guys last year?

I’ve done nothing but wish them the best, just not against my favorite team. Most all those athletes finished their contracts in good faith and performed to the best of their abilities.

The only player that left GB where the fans hated him was Favre. but Favre never finished his contract in good faith, didn’t deal with the Packer franchise in good faith, nor the Jets.

By all accounts, Cullen Jenkins lived up to his end of the contract. The Packers have decided to move in a different direction and haven’t offered Jenkins any kind of extension. Why in the world would us Packer fans hold anything against this man earning a living and taking care of his family?

How great was that when Cullin did up the Mr. T mohawk and chops for the Halloween game against the Jets. Although oft injured, he certainly does have a good sense of humor.

I wouldn’t blame him for going to the Bears, I suppose. Sucks, but a 4-3 is a better fit for him. Despite his excellent level of play, there is an injury risk with him so if da Bears want to take that on, best of luck to them.
