I think Ryan is trying to trick the Pats into possibly going after Moss again…so their offense can become more predictable. Jets CBs match up very well against Moss…moreso than against the types of receivers we have now on the Pats roster. Jets are trying to play Jedi mind tricks with the emperor.

That would be awesome if the Jets dropped one of their other big name receivers to get the washed-up Moss who all of the Patriot’s CBs know like their own brother. No, more likely this wasn’t about an interest in Moss. It was a message to Edwards and Holmes and all the other receivers on the roster playing at half their potential and being paid twice what their potential implies. Moss and Burress would both be bigger risks than the current starters, but they are great threats to the starters to get it together.

I don’t get all this aculades everyone wants to put on Moss, he USED three teams last year with not one bit of outbut or loyality by Moss. Teams truly deserve waht they get with him. All this plays when he wants to play. How do you sell this to offense and defensive lineman.

Every time Moss faced the Jets, Revis and others would go on and on about Moss being a ‘slouch’ and giving up on plays. Gee, what could possibly go wrong in that locker room if Moss signed with the Jets? I’m sure Ryan’s huge ego believes he can make it work, too.

For this particular Jets team Ryan is the perfect coach. He’s given them an identity and one of the more succesfull run in Jets history. He’s doing this with a QB who is not quite ready for prime time and a defense that is all Rex Ryan’s personality.

You know what else “great” coaches do? They get the best out of their players and motivate them to play beyond what they think they can. All that trash talking and hype leading up to the NE away game in the playoffs this past season is an example of that.

Great coaches also don’t worry about what some no name blogger is posting about them and does everything to motivate his players to win.

So if the Jets want to pay out bigger cash for a has-been, then please have at it.

Always loved Randy Moss. He has had his share of problems… but has been critiqued to death by the Media, etc. Even at his current age believe, he could be an asset to a lot of teams…plus keep in mind – he didn’t ‘kill dogs’ or accidentally shoot himself. Good luck Randy…

Please no. I would be really mad if the jets signed him. He clearly doesnt have it anymore and i dont think him and Sanchez would be a good match at all. I would much rather the jets sign holmes and have him and j co at wr. Then draft a reciever in the later rounds and develop him. Go back to NE where you belong randy.
