Surely the Rams would be a more logical team to move to London if that is the NFL’s ultimate plan.

Rams need a stadium.

There owner owns the biggest team in London.

Finally, someone who knows what they’re talking about. Kroenke had to make a bid after buying more than a certain amount of stake in the club. Those offers have been turned down from my understanding. Business resumed as usual.

Kroenke doesn’t actually ‘own’ Arsenal. He is a majority shareholder – he owns about 62%. Last week’s buying of shares trigged a buyout/ownership OFFER, which has been rejected by the other major shareholder (a Russian called Usmanov) and the supporter’s shareholder trust.

Kroenke was already on the club’s board so not much has actually changed for the moment.

Don’t waste your time with anything that Miklasz writes or says – he is a hack that has lost his fastball. Out of desperation he “broke” the signing of Matt Painter becoming the next head basketball coach at Mizzou . . . Oops Bernie, a veteran scribe like yourself has no business getting played like you did by Painter’s camp in leveraging his new contract. Zero credibility with Miklasz and this story is just another yawner like every other story written by Post Dispatch columnists Miklasz and Burwell. Yawwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn.

1. They just BUILT that stupid stadium. It is seriously not that old. These damn NFL teams are getting spoiled by our municipal governments providing new toys for them!

2. The best owners don’t micromanage; heck, they don’t even manage. They hire the best people to do that for them.
