    I simply don’t understand what Seattle is doing. Draft a QB, yes. But have Charlie Whitehurst mentor him/transition the franchise to the next generation? Just seems like Hasselbeck should’ve signed long ago, not just because of what he’s meant to the Seahawks, but because he provides the best option to do what they need the next few years.

    Hasselback would love to mentor a young qb. a young qb would not love to be mentored by hasselback.

    You’re right, young quarterbacks would not want to be mentored by ‘Hasselback’. They would, however, want to be mentored by Hasselbeck.
