Falcons safety arrested on multiple charges

Yes, the lockout lock-up continues.

Falcons safety William Moore was arrested Tuesday on charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license, and failure to appear, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Moore, who started every game from Week Two through the playoffs in only his second NFL season, was arrested at 2:00 p.m. and released on bail at 9:30 p.m.

It’s the 10th player arrest since the lockout began 40 days ago.  That’s an average of (calculator on) one arrest every four days.

They’re being set up by those dirty scumbag owners, man. It’s worse than slavery.

Was the failure to appear a charge from their playoff game this year?

  4. canetic says: Apr 20, 2011 8:51 AM

Should it really count as an arrest if it’s a player I’ve never heard of?

sophandros, I award you one internet.

Anyway, Moore was just doing what all players should be doing when facing a loss of paychecks: cutting costs. He just cut his chauffeur.

hmmmm…..I wonder if he was on the way to his side job, being that the owners are simply starving the poor guys out…

Should start collecting mug shot cards instead of regular annual football cards.

Oh look at me so much above the rest of you. Can he get one of those loans to post bond???

  9. jw731 says: Apr 20, 2011 9:00 AM

Either he was rushing to get to the next mediation session, or to the bank to cash his lockout check. There can be no other logical explanation….

Some players are so poor that they need to go out and get arrested to save money on lodging and food.

This may change Mike Browns mind! He may offer to trade Carson Palmer for him or at least a first round pick.

I’m a huge William Moore fan, but this is beyond stupid. Thank goodness it was just speeding and a suspended license.

Dude was a second round pick, he can afford to pay his traffic tickets.

Another one bites the dust. These guys seem to expect “special” treatment just because they play a little football. They need to get a life and act accordingly.
