I have no idea what your background is, but a basic grasp of engineering principles will tell you that buildings don’t collapse straight down floor-by-floor without any sort of resistance.

There is plenty of evidence out there, if you look for it, i’m just listing an example that is the easiet to grasp.

That being said, the next time Rexy keeps his mouth shut will be the first time.Maybe instead of anouncing to the world that he’s going to put a sock in it(pun intended) for one day, he should have just done it.

The players dont care about the history of the game, the future of the game or the fans…all they care about is “ME and MY MONEY”…so I wont be surpised at all if they dont care about the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

And to justify my “they dont care”. For those of you that it hasnt clicked with, this legal battle if succesful will kill the NFL as we know it. 32 seperate business, no different than IBM, HP, Dell. No collaborative rules, no draft, no revenue sharing. Nothing. The rich feast and the poor famine. A kicker can make $40,000 and a QB can make $200 million. Buffalo can fall of the map and Dallas can sign the top 5 prospects coming out of college.

They dont care about us or the game. They care about themselves only. and people like that dont certiantly dont care about a symbolic event like the 10th anniversary of a tradgedy.

I don’t think the NFL has all of the power to determine if these or any other games are canceled. That rests in the hands of the players and the owners and their ability to come to an agreement. The date is strictly coincidental and I promise you no one in the mediation is thinking about the date of opening weekend as a reason to come to an agreement alone.
