If you are retiring like say Pat Williams or whoever this ruling doesnt meant a thing but of course the lawyers are winners, i am wondering how many billable hrs they got. Sometimes its best to take the penalty if you weigh the cost-benefit analysis.

Great, meanwhile, it’s been years since this would’ve been relevant. I think all involved already are retired, or will most likely consider retirement.

Kevin Williams may play a couple years more, so he’ll probably be the only one to serve.

Thanks a lot, Minnesota judge, for putting your love of your precious Queens before your objectivity.

Note: I want the Vikings to stay in Minnesota. Not that I like their team, city or fans. In fact, just the opposite. Still, I respect them as our opponents.

Hahaha can we list this as FAIL#1 for the Vi-Queens in the 2011-2012 season. It’s gonna be hard to match the amount of failure of last season, with all the sexting and collapsing buildings, but looking at their depth chart at the QB position they have all the potential in the world to match/top 2010. Vikings will still be tough to run on.Letroy Guion played well last season and will step up. Rather the first 4 games when teams are trying to learn to play as a well tuned unit than later.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said today on PFT Live. “The result is the case is over and we, the NFL, prevailed in the case. So there is a court in Minnesota that rules in our favor from time to time.”

Wow, and this guy is the spokesman for the NFL? I hope he does realize he’s in contempt when he said this and that the judge won’t find the humor. Just stupid… Wow.

What a crock! These guys get suspended for doing a drug that masks another drug, but they didn’t take the other drug? So nothing harmful was taken and yet their reputation is now damaged and the NFL is now a “winner”.

I’m confused, lets go have a drank and talk about it! The NFL is okay with that because its prescribed.

Seems a little unfair. The banned ingredient wasn’t even listed. Obviously the players might want to consider suing the manufacturer. I don’t understand why this couldn’t have been worked out between the parties. It’s unfortunate, but I don’t understand the NFL crowing about it.

It looks like when you are in the right you can win a case in court. That should tell you something about the current lockout case. I will give you several minutes to see if you can figure out what that is…

…time is up. Drop the stupid laywers and the lockout case and get back to bargaining. You have already F’d up the league enough.

Aiello is a dummy. No wonder the owners are getting their a-zes kicked in this battle.

Even when they win an otherwise meaningless case in the grand scheme of things, this dummy has to needle every judge on the Minnesota bench with his moronic “so there is a court in Minn that rules in our favor from time to time” comment.

He couldn’t leave well enough alone.

Judges…no matter if they are liberal or conservative, pro-union or pro-business, will stick up for their own. If a litigant disrespects one of them, they see it as an assault on all of them. Comments like this stick in their craws. Don’t be surprised if the 8th Cir. rules in the players favor.

It’s only a victory if the NFL can suspend the players. To do that, they need to have a season from which to suspend them. Otherwise, the Williamses and Smith are suspended like every other player. Amirite?
