Oh lord. The above statement by Raiderfan is EXACTLY why the previous statement is so true. Raiderfan lives in the past because the last 10 or so years have been terrible. You had to go all the way back to Stabler, Lamonica, and Ganon (trade)?????? Is the future of the Raiders that crapy that Raider fan has to relive the 70s and 80s?

I love how the trained seals flap their fins together whenever another ridiculous, unsubstantiated rumor is reported as news. “As per a league source” is National Inquirer type of journalism. If you could give me a name of this “source” it might have some merit. Since I know you can’t give me the source I know it’s more crap.

I really don’t have an opinion on this article. I just wanted to say thanks for not using the stock Al Davis picture you’ve been posting on every Raiders story lately. After I showed him the article, my cubemate turned to stone this morning – lucky for me I wasn’t wearing the reading glasses today, so I’m OK. There is some burning in the one retina, though.

I like CK and not just because of his initials .
He has a nice personality and he looks like he has all the tools to be good.
One thing that really impressed me is that Sports Science thing he did where he faced two guys jumping in his face (which simulates pass rush better than any other drill they put guys through) and he had this SICK amount of passes he got into the net regardless of where he was on their field. He was able to alter his motion/trajectory really well on the fly and be accurate. That skill/talent will come in very handy in the NFL as a QB seldom has ideal conditions to throw.

I see Kapernick making it in the NFL. He has great characterand, the intangible “will to win”, is exciting to watch and has a cannon for an arm. It’s no wonder the Raidah’s want him. “Just go deep baby!”

He wouldn’t mind playing inthe Bay Area either. His giant family lives in Turlock, just 60 minutes away

I think the bigger uproar should be why is this guy being drafted 15th overall? seriously? He played in a run first offense at a mid major school. If he goes before Mallett that will be a travesty.

With all the rumors that he’s high on the Seahawks board, I’ve been watching his highlights over the past week or so.

Honestly, he reminds me a lot of Aaron Rogers in his Cal days, but his stats are significantly more staggering from an outsider’s perspective. I understand that he’s a project, but given his character and athleticism (arm strength, speed, height), I’m now a believer. With the right situation, he will be a stud!

Please don’t go to a team that will start him too soon (looking at Vikings, Redskins, Bengals, Raiders, etc.). For him and Locker, I hope they don’t get rushed. Ask Jimmy Clausen how that’s turned out so far!

Several of these teams will regret reaching for these QB’s that are NOT 1st or even 2nd round talent. GM’s keep saying it’s a QB-driven league…..funny how the Jets get to the AFC Championship game every year with a MEDIOCRE QB. I understand the QB is the most important position on the team, but it doesn’t mean you should pass up much higher rated players with your first pick in order to take a much lower rated QB prospect.

Tired of these wild claims by Source. He is by far the worse journalist I have ever seen. All Source does is claim things that never come to fruition. His success rate is worse than Mock Drafts when they first come out. Remember when Bowers was the #1 pick?

I wouldn’t mind seeing Denver take him if he is there for the 2nd pick.
