The previous week GB’s one NT (Raji) had to play the entire game versus the Vikings. In prior weeks Green Bay also played Josh Sitton (starting OG) in goalline defense because they had no other big bodies.

And then Howard Green had a good playoffs where he squashed Cutler once, and hit Big Ben’s arm on a pass that was pick 6′ed to put the Pack up 14-0 in the Super Bowl.

Poor ol Rexy must have forgotten that the Steelers kicked the living you know what out of them in the AFC Championship Game! The game was over with at half for crying out loud!

MESSAGE TO REX: REX – YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THE RIGHT TO GO TO THE SUPER BOWL! PERHAPS YOU WERE SMOKING SOME OF THE GREAT CIGARS THAT THE TONE HAS!

I think they would have matched up better with the Packers, but the Packers defense played a great game against a great QB. I doubt Sanchez would have faired better than Ben.

But who knows? It’s all speculation, because they still lost in the AFCCG.

You can keep on saying the Jets would of beaten the Packers in the Super Bowl but saying that doesn’t make the Jets any better. The fact is that the Jets lost to Pittsburgh in the championship game while the Packers beat that same team in the Super Bowl. So please just accept that fact and stop embarrassing yourself by saying the Jets would of won in a game that happened over two months ago.

Then Jets would have lost 3 – 0. Or how about this one – Detroit would have beaten the Packers in the Superbowl because they beat them during the season. Or how about this one – Green Bay would beaten the Jets 23 – 0 if Green Bay had home field advantage….if their receivers hadn’t dropped those balls…if the moon was in the seventh house and Jupiter aligned with Mars….

Sanchez was busy Super Bowl weekend … had to take his high school sweetie to the prom.

That makes him the only Jet to score that weekend.

I used to like Rex as that edgy coach that brings drama to the game. Now I just think he’s a d*mn fool.
