Let’s say you put dollar amount on the value of the original pick and the one below it. Well, then there were damages and the Ravens deserve to be made whole. That would be fair dealing. The Ravens will likely get something for next year when all is finally sorted. That would be a fair conclusion. Maybe there needs to be a referee present at the draft to warn teams when time is short and to make decisions instantly if/when something like this happens. Seems that ever since the Super Bowl debacle, the NFL is more like the Three Stooges. They just can’t get anything right.
