Of those 8 losses a good team should of won at least 4 of them *.
Now, they may well be on the upswing but probably not. I look for a 6-10 season in 2011 which will be well behind the Tebow led Broncos.

The team rallied around Tebow and that will continue. He’s by far their best chance to win.

You do realize that Orton was on his way to a career season before an injury and a coaching change shut him down, right? He made a Pro Bowl WR out of a journeyman. The defense was abysmal. It’s a team sport, after all.

Oh, and just in case nobody knew or forgot, up until last year, there were 2 key things about Kyle Orton:

1. He never had a losing season as a starting QB.
2. He had more wins and a better winning pct than Jay Cutler.

With an improved offense and a good coach in John Fox, a Kyle Orton lead team this year will improve by leaps and bounds. Tim Tebow can’t hold up for a 16 game season just yet. It’s easy to come in the last 3 weeks against tired teams and teams who really had nothing to play for.

Where they are as an organization is dead last in defense. They might as well go with Timothy, but Elway probably shouldn’t admit it this early. He is more or less saying, “We aren’t close on offense, and we’re stuck with this guy, so we might as well play him.” Tebow can call it belief if he wants, but it’s more circumstance than anything else.

Bottom line it this was and still is a weak QB class and the clean up for the Broncos must start on defense. That’s not been a secret.
