Eagles cornerback: Joselio Hanson can be the team’s nickel back, but a team with championship aspirations can’t survive a crater-sized hole at cornerback. Third-rounder Curtis Marsh adds depth, but they’ll add a free agent. It would be a big surprise if they weren’t in on the Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes.
Cowboys defensive end: Stephen Bowen and Jason Hatcher are in free agent limbo. Even if both of them return, the Cowboys could use more help.
Giants linebacker: It wouldn’t be a shocker if they looked at inside linebackers like Barrett Ruud or Paul Pozluszny in free agency.
Redskins wideout: At this point, the Redskins have John Beck throwing passes to Malcolm Kelly, Anthony Armstrong, and third-round pick Leonard Hankerson. They could all be displaced by free agents.
Lions cornerback: We loved Detroit’s draft, but they still have a massive hole at cornerback, even if Chris Houston re-signs.
Buccaneers cornerback: Yeah, they like the guys they have. They would like Asomugha even more.
Panthers defensive end: They could only fill so many needs in one draft. Look for them to aggressively try to re-sign Charles Johnson.
Seahawks defensive line: It was a bit of a surprise that no pick was made here until the seventh round. The team manufactured a pass rush last year, but can upgrade the talent.
Rams running back: G.M. Billy Devaney said on PFT Live the Rams had done a poor job finding a capable backup for Steven Jackson. Since they ignored the position in the draft, we fully expect them to go after one aggressively in free agency.
