The theory now is that they planted explosives into each tower in 2001, and detonated them after the planes crashed into the buildings, and that detonation, not the burning jet fuel is what brought the towers down.

So my question is, why bother with the planes? Why not just flip a switch, blow both buildings to the ground, and celebrate a blow dealt to the Great Satan? What did the planes add? And what are the chances of inexperienced pilots hitting the both buildings in the exact spot necessary to make it look like it was the planes taht brought them down?

I’ve got plenty of life experience dealing with duplicitous governments and radical guerillas. I don’t take anything on face value and have done plenty of research on 9/11. But real research isn’t about going to conspiracy sites and listening to fools feed each other’s paranoia anymore than it’s about having blind faith in the government. Maturity and discernment. The temperature required to melt steel, which was only sustained for MINUTES (not hours as it would be required). In a worst case scenario, it would take HOURS at a MUCH HIGHER TEMPRATURE to melt the steel.

—-> I reiterate: It is not necessary to melt the steel. (And the steel could not have melted under these conditions.) At the temperatures likely to occur with thousands of pounds of burning jet fuel, steel will lose at least half it’s strength. The fuel burned long enough to dramatically weaken the steel, causing the collapse.

As for your “it didn’t melt, it deformed” theory, guess what? That DOES NOT EQUATE to a FULL PANCAKE COLLAPSE. Even if the floors came down as suggested, where is the core?

I understand making a tape to be released in the event of his death, and word is that he has, in fact, done so, but the vast majority of his released tapes have always contained a reference to something very current, to establish the fact that he is still alive and relevant.

Do some of you even understand the implications of proclaiming his death if it’s not legitimate? Do you realize what that would DO to the American government? How can you possibly think that they would risk something like announcing his death when they don’t have concrete proof of it?

The American government doesn’t control bin Laden. There’s nothing that would stop bin Laden from doing whatever necessary to confirm to his followers that the United States was fabricating his death and CLEARLY this hasn’t happened.
