PS – I never thought of McNabb as a “black QB”, and he didn’t either.

His game was well-rounded, he wasn’t as reliant on his mobility as most players who get that tag.

In addition, I think here in Philly we stopped thinking about QB’s as being black or white around 1990.

Now that’s an excellent subject for debate.

I’d have to say Moon, who put up epic numbers (CFL and NFL) and is in the HOF (reflecting his work in both leagues).

In terms of revolutionizing the game, I’d take Cunningham and then Vick.

In terms of establishing that an AA QB can be a champion, I’d take Doug Williams.

In terms of marketability, Vick.

Philadelphia has had more black QB’s than anyone else from what I can recall. Cunningham. McPherson. Peete. McNabb. Vick. Even Jeff Blake got in on the action!

How come everyone trashed Eagles fans when McNabb was traded, even though Andy Reid traded him, not the fans? Everyone blamed the fans, but no one questioned Reid. Well, it doesn’t matter anyway because we told everyone it was time to part ways and we were right, but you won’t hear anyone admit that. I don’t know who will want him now, but remember, you don’t just get 5, you get all the excuses that come with him as well!!

McNabb is a one year stop gap in Minnesota. They have to get Ponder on the field quickly to show that they drafted him WAY to high.

‘Zona should just get Leinart back and then go for Luck in ’12 cause they’ll likely have the first pick next year regardless of the QB.

Bengals should trade ochocinco for mcnabb straight up. I’m no mcnabb fan, but mcnabb is a west coast offense guy and could help Dalton with grudens new west coast system. Just a thought.. Besides it sounds like a mike brown move to me, bringing in talent past their prime.
