Mark this down, the Raiders will win at least 10 games this year. J.Campbell came on strong when he got consistent playing time, as did the rest of the offense. You cannot overlook the 6-0 record against the AFC West, most of which, will field the same team this coming year. Playing under a coach that understands more than just the O-Line will definitley aid the cause, and to have a QB playing under the same offensive scheme 2 years in a row sounds like a Winner to me! Let’s go Oakland!

Oh excuse me, beastofeden, I guess you never had a job you didn’t like? You must live a life of luxury and every job you held was filled with pure ecstasy. Every professional likes consistency in knowing what their job responsibilities are and if it’s constantly changing without you having any say and you can still perform above and beyond what is expected of you then I will commend you. Otherwise, you’re just another arm chair GM who throws stones while living in a glass house.

Hmmmmm. Jason Campbell was a first round draft pick. He has not lived up to it. Not by any means. He’s been in the NFL 6 years, 0 trips to the playoffs (That was all todd collins in Washington). Jason is a professional, so the arguement that he “has never had the same offensive system 2 years in a row” is hogwash. His brain must be as slow as his feet if you can’t learn from his mistakes 6 years and counting.

I’m a Redskins fan. I watched him choke up games, throw INT’s, have about 3 fourth QTR comebacks, and never demostarte leadership qualities for four seasons.

He is not what you want Raider fans. He is false hope.

That is because the o-line played a lot better as season went along, veldheer was better at tackle then center, satele sucked mid season, carlise sucked all season, cambell was finally named the qb after bruce sucked, and jacoby ford came alive….as with any team youth took time to gel.

Go back and look at the Titans, Steelers, 49ers and first half of the Rams games where Campbell was a complete flop.

Cable seemed to prefer Bruce Gradkowski and that could have been a factor in Cable’s removal

The only thing that factored into Cable’s removal was the fact that he was a lousy coach. Any offensive success that the Raiders achieved last season is directly related to the hiring of Hue Jackson as OC. He switched the blocking scheme from a zone system to a power scheme that took advantage of McFadden’s skills. Any Raider fan knows this.

Grads > Campbell.

Campbell only won when our rushing attack and D dominated the game and all he was asked to do was throw a few dump-offs and screen passes. Grads brought us back to win vs. the Rams. If Janikowski doesn’t miss a chip shot vs. Arizona we win that game. He almost engineered a game-tying drive vs. Houston but it fell short because of a dropped pass. No matter how you look at it the passing attack was much better with Grads under center than with Campbell.

Common misconception that Jackson doesn’t like Grad. Jackson was the one who wanted to make the move from Campbell to Grad at halftime of the Rams game. Additionally, Hue reportedly persuaded Cable to start Grad against the Dolphins.

Al prefers Campbell so that’s where they are going, but it isn’t that Jackson dislikes Grad. Grad is a good QB just not a good fit for Jackson’s offense

7-5 as a Starter in 2010 is all I know.. The rest of the BS said above is.. Well “BS” if you only read about the Raiders or only be force fed the garbage Raider Haters post on this site.

Than you wouldn’t know how important Cambell was last year to this franchise.

If the coach wouldn’t have black balled him with Gradowski those 4 games we would have been in the playoff’s.. We only needed 1 or two wins.

He had a winning record as a starter last year and Cable pulling him for Grads pretty much derailed the season.

I can only imagine what happens on a day to day basis in the Raider organization. Never a dull moment is right. I especially enjoy seeing them roll out Al Davis for his once a year press conference. Al is a legend but he should do a live radio feed not televised anymore. Go Raiders….LoL.
