Jason Campbell talks DHB, Nnamdi

Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell, who along with defensive lineman Richard Seymour is organizing players-only workouts, joined PFT Live on Tuesday to discuss a variety of topics relating to the Silver and Black, a team on the rise that is still getting not much attention.

Among the subjects, Campbell touched on his expectations for third-year receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, along with Campbell’s thoughts on whether cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha will return to the team.

The full segment is available in the box in the upper right corner of each PFT page, or you can download the audio of the show on iTunes.

We could listen to this or we could choose to boycott all things football until the greedy players and even greedier owners end this stupidity.

Raiders have a good chance to make something of themselves whenever the season starts, but they are going to have to win the division just to get in the playoffs.

Wild Card spots will go to other divisions, but if two teams out of the AFC west make the playoffs, it would be a shocker if you think about it:

Colts, Ravens, Steelers, Patriots, Jets are the teams most likely to earn a playoff spot, then you have teams that are in the middle like:

Texans, Dolphins, Jaguars, and Bengals (if Carson Palmer remains the QB) are teams that could also push for that wild card spot and make the playoffs , so there you have it, Raiders must win their division to make the playoffs and their chances are pretty good.

Nice feature – good work. A few questions about the Raiders incoming draft class would be nice.

Richard Seymour is exactly what the Pats are missing, never should have let him go.

    No excuses.

    really not much about nothing..

when dhb was drafted raiders came out and said he was a 3 year project same as cliff branch, and as far as nnamdi everybody knows once a raider , …………………………….

  19. rjblitz02 says: May 10, 2011 8:15 PM

You would think having a db like Nnamdi would only help the Raider’s WR corps. Minus a few fantastic catches, those poor receivers couldn’t catch a cold..

@p4hbiz Redskins won 2 more SBs since Riggins. And the last one Riggins played in was the last one The Raiders won. Just sayin….

But I do like what the Raiders are doing, building a team the proper way.
