NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell appeared on PFT Live Wednesday to address a variety of issues, including the rumors flying of a complete NFL shutdown if the lockout was lifted.

His response to Florio was very interesting:

“Mike, the only thing I’m going to say in regards to any of these rumors, there’s all kinds of reports, is that we’re considering a variety of different alternatives based on the court decisions. We’ll have to do that, and we are prepared to do that, and we are going through that process,” Goodell said.

That type of answer is a great reminder that we really have no idea where this work stoppage is headed. We’ll have more from Goodell’s interview throughout the day.
