Jenkings has been a Pretty good force upfront, him with Brian Orakpo should be a good combo.

Depends on how hard the coaches work them.

I’m more concerned Cullen will go lazy like Albert if he goes there, I don’t know how the coaching is there in Washington, but I hope the money doesn’t make Cullen lazy, I hope Cullen keeps in top shape and plays even better.

The DE’s only job in a 3-4 is to hold the block so the olb can make the play. That means that they are expendable and any warm body will do. That is what you call a FACT. Yes Jenkins was a good 4-3 end rusher, however thats not how the Pack won their ring so to him he is just a guy.

Are you kidding me? The Redskins are the only team in the NFL who could sign the entire AP NFL All Pro Team and turn them into basement dwellers. I simply cannot understand why a solid player would be excited to come to D.C. to play anymore.

Have no idea what flyboy is talking about with concerns about the attitude. Jenkins has always been a team player and plays when injured. Always has a great attitude and was never a problem in the locker room.

Sure, there are injury concerns, but that’s with any interior player of Jenkins age. The reason the Pack has to let him go is cap reasons and age. We have guys behind him that have worked hard for their chance.

If the Skins get Jenkins they should be happy.

Skins fans are pure class. If they land him, good luck to them…unless they’re playing the Packers, of course.

Better Washington than Chicago or Minnesota.

Jenkins ironically wasn’t the best fit with the scheme Green Bay ran, but is a force regardless of scheme on passing downs.

With Orakpo rushing off the strong side, and Kerrigan and Jenkins coming from the blindside, that is, pure and simple, Tom Brady’s nightmare.

Jenkins was GREAT when healthy, not withstanding the occasional bounce off a QB instead of a sack. I hope he gets a huge contract out of that DS in DC. He deserves it.

I would really hate to see Jenkins go to the Redskins, only because things don’t turn out too well for the people that do go there.

Whatever happens I wish Jenkins the best and it was a great run. I loved the “bushwhacker” celebration in the picture above. Wherever he lands if he can stay healthy, you guys got yourself a baller.

Of course Jenkins is interested. It’s where 30+ year old players go to sign over-inflated contracts that end up being way more than what anyone else will pay. Why wouldn’t he be interested?? Except for the fact that the Redskins suck and are in no position to be competitive. At least he got his ring last year.

Better there than Chicago, I guess. Figured he’d be more inclined to go back to a 4-3 rather than stick with the 3-4 but I guess if the money is the same it doesn’t matter to him.
