Last month Browns quarterback Colt McCoy took the controls of organizing offseason work with his teammates near his Texas home, workouts dubbed “Camp Colt.” Now the Browns are getting together to work closer to home, and the man McCoy usurped as the Browns’ starting quarterback last season is in attendance as well.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer reports that quarterback Jake Delhomme was one of the players to show up to offseason workouts in Berea, Ohio, this week.

Also in attendance was tight end Jordan Cameron, a fourth-round draft pick. But the Browns’ other two rookie offensive skill position players, receiver Greg Little and fullback Owen Marecic, were unable to attend.

The workouts consisted of individual position drills, McCoy and Delhomme throwing passes to receivers, working out in the weight room and film study. McCoy received a playbook from new coach Pat Shurmur (in apparent violation of NFL rules), and he’s been teaching his teammates the new offense.

And Delhomme is apparently interested in learning the offense from the young player who took his job.
