I honestly forgot he was in the NFL anymore until being reminded that he got picked up by Carolina. I remember that happening now. How could i have forgotten an off-season move by the panthers? i should be ashamed. I do respect Shockey though, as a player, even though he has fallen off the map a little over the past couple seasons.

I don’t believe for a second that he doesn’t have health insurance. He just donated $10k to some charity you write and he is vacationing for a while in Ireland. I HIGHLY doubt that he is hurting so bad that he can’t afford health insurance.

Sadly for him he has to deal with Cam Newton for a year.
