Stafford's injuries have been freak injuries. I expect him to play atleast 15 games and make a run into the playoffs and a run for the probowl for him personally.

Add some defensive free agents and this team could be the biggest shocker of the decade. And look at the team's average age. Look at how young the starters are. If they are not in the playoffs this year, it wont be by much. And they will be within the next 3. And the will be in the super bowl in the next 10.

I agree that Hill has been an better than expected QB for Detroit. He has outplayed anything I've seen of Stafford, and plays hard through injuries. I think Hill was the fire undernearth the team last year. I live in Michigan so I see the Lions regularly. I would like to know what everyone is smoking, thinking the Lions are a playoff team, let alone making it to the Super bowl. (They have never been to a Superbowl, unless they bought tickets)

Why not start with going for a winning season, for a change of pace. In reality both Chicago and Green Bay are better teams, don't even try to argue, one won the SB and the other made it to the NFCC.

So, to get a for sure playoff spot you gotta win the division. So, yeah good luck Lions fans, hopefully one day your expectations will be reality based.

Hill has been a very servicible quarterback. I wonder if any teams will try to make a move for him but given Stafford's durability I'm not sure that the Lions would be willing to part ways with him.
