First of all, before you say you are better you have to prove you can beat the other team. That didn’t happen. The Packers (as much as it pains me to say this) are the best team in the NFL right now. 2 years ago I thought the Vikings had the best team in the NFL. After all they beat the Saints up and down the field. However, the bottom line is they didn’t beat them where it counted. The score! Therefore I could not claim they were the better team.

The Packers are very deep and have the capacity to build a dynasty. The Bears, not so much. In my opinion a lot of the Bear wins last year were by luck and let’s not forget about two of their wins last year. Remember? The “should have not wins” against the Lions. Sure, all teams get lucky now and then. However those two wins would have took them out of the playoffs if it weren’t for erroneious calls.

So Brian, as much as I admire you as a football player I think you are a bit delusional to be spewing this sentence.

Oh, since Rex Ryan said he would have beaten the Packers, and now Urlacher, does it mean we have to turn in the LOMBARDI TROPHY.

Winning the final 2 games of the regular season against the 10-4 Giants, and the 13-2 Bears to get into the playoffs, then Beating the #1,2 and 3 NFC seeds on the road in the playoffs, then the #2 AFC seed in the Super Bowl is Lucky??? If you ask me or anyone else who knows any bit about football, you can say thats one of the greatest Super Bowl runs of all time…

Being a Packers fan, I can admit my obvious bias but I feel the Lions are poised to make a genuine leap over year’s past.
Their defense, at least on paper, is positively scary. Though I am not sold on Stafford they have the best wideout in football and what could amount to a very interesting rushing attack.

As for the rest of the conference, you can’t count out the Saints.
Easily better than the Bears in my opinion. Even though they stubbed their toe in the playoffs last year.

I realise Urlacher is just preachin’ to the choir and it’s nothing to get into a snit about.
