Julio Jones had perhaps the single most impressive performance at the NFL Scouting Combine despite running with a broken bone in his foot.
Ten weeks later, Jones is the Falcons’ first-round draft pick, and he has declared on Twitter that his foot surgery was successful and he can run again, this time on a healthy foot.
“Heading back to Atlanta from Charlotte I had a recheck on my foot everything went great now I can start running #WINNING,” Jones tweeted, adding a Charlie Sheen-inspired hashtag.
So after showing off at the Combine what he can do on one healthy foot, Jones will soon start to show off what he can do on two healthy feet.
